Nick Grassick didn’t always plan to write children’s books.

After many years in fast-paced corporate roles, life gradually shifted focus. Becoming a father changed how time was valued and what felt worth building. As his son grew, stories became part of everyday life—read aloud, talked about, and returned to again and again. That quiet routine became the starting point.

The dogs in Nick’s books are real. Wilson, Harry, and Henry are family pets. The other characters are dogs from the local neighbourhood—familiar faces who meet daily in the park, play together, and form the small friendships that inspired the stories. These are not imagined worlds, but gently reshaped versions of everyday life.

Nick now writes calm, reassuring stories designed to be read slowly and often. His books focus on warmth, emotional safety, and simple moments children recognise—friendship, kindness, curiosity, and play.

Based in Dubai, Nick is building a growing collection of children’s books rooted in family life, real dogs, and the belief that gentle stories often stay with us the longest.
